Meditation Study & Practice
Using plain language, broadly suited to diverse backgrounds,
we study meditation in a continuing cycle:
Examine traditional teachings.
Pragmatically draw from traditional teachings that have a degree of universal value. In particular we focus on
Buddhist Calm Abiding and Insight meditation, and similar western forms
such as Centering Prayer.
Practice according to those teachings.
Meditate regularly at home, and in practice groups if possible.
Reflect upon the experience.
Through shared reflection, within practice groups and in formal
, find
wisdom and guidance from the meditation experience.
