- Contemplative perspective – centering awareness in the present moment
- Holistic scope – attending to all areas of bodymind, relationships, or nature where spirit moves
- Multifaith orientation – employing whatever personal or traditional language fits your background and experience
- Process-oriented method – trusting the ongoing evolution of your innermost being, facilitating your development from the inside out
