Our virtual sangha welcomes you to participate in our mutually-supportive practice community by joining us in our efforts to integrate meditation into our daily lives. Grounded in aspiration to live mindfully and practice peace, we collaborate for the benefit of ourselves, humanity and the world.
While we are united in aspiration, we honor the diversity of faith, style and experience that we each bring to this path. We simply encourage one another to continue onward, each at our own pace, enjoying the journey together.
Ways to Participate
The main way to participate is simply to keep your aspiration alive and keep developing your meditation practice. The importance of that is paramount. Keep in mind that we support your effort and your effort supports us.
Other ways to participate:
- Follow our conversation on Slack. It’s OK to “lurk” until you are ready to say something.
- Join us in trying to meditate at least once per week, in a spirit of supporting the rest of us to do the same.
- Sit in on our periodic Zoom meditation sessions (especially our first-Sunday-of-the-month sits and our quarterly mini-retreats.)
There are no set “fees” or “dues”. This ministry is financially viable thanks to the generosity of our participants. You can contribute to our “financial stewardship” by supporting Studio Zero (my 501-c-3 nonprofit).
For now, as a code of conduct, please observe the open source Contributor Covenant and practice “Right Speech”. We may soon adopt our own covenant/agreement.
